Common questions about publishing with a webhook.

A JSON POST with the article ID, title, slug, meta description, HTML and Markdown body, images, language, status, and publish date. Test deliveries have the event value test, so your endpoint can respond 200 and save nothing.

Any 2xx response counts as success, and the body is optional. Return JSON like {"link": "https://..."} to set the live URL of the article.

RankGPT deletes its copies soon after publishing. Download each image to your own storage and replace its URL in the article, because links to RankGPT image URLs will stop working.

RankGPT retries on 5xx, 408, and 429 responses, timeouts, and network errors. It does not retry other 4xx responses or redirects. You can resend any article from the delivery log.

Yes. Use Webhooks by Zapier to catch the article and send it to your CMS or tool. If your site is built with an AI app builder, paste our prompt into the builder and it can write the endpoint for you.
